This design is created using handwoven cotton silk fabric that was created in Murshidabad by skilled weavers. We used the Arashi Shibori dying method to provide our clothing textures for this collection. On a base of vanilla and ivory cotton silk, we have created textures in tan tones for this look. It is a mandarin collar, knife-pleated shirt with short front placket and virago sleeves. On the collar and placket there is intricate kantha embroidery, and the buttons are hand embroidered. This striking shirt would inject some excitement into your closet. You can style it however you like—wear it as a shirt dress or with pants. The garment is made in the area by skilled artisans who use sustainable and ecologically friendly practises. Amala Earth offers a wide variety of slow-fashion and ethical clothing options.
